Retro-fitted with 9hp mercury motors making it possible for non-skippers to Captain their own boat as they amble along the lush Vaal shores.

No, our boats are retrofitted with small enough motors that don’t require clients to have a skippers licence. We will do a briefing and show you how everything works before you take her out. ‘Rules of the river’ are part of the briefing
If we (or you) are not comfortable taking the boat out we can cancel your rental
Yes, boat rental includes the fuel you will need for the amount of time you have booked it
- Yes, you are welcome to bring your own snacks & cooler box
- We can also pack a cooler for you
You will travel at no wake speed, approximately 4kmph
Unfortunately no towing of tubes or other water sport paraphernalia is possible
We work on time, you can cruise down river for 45min, then it’s time to make your way back
Unfortunately no swimming is allowed from our boats
Unfortunately not fishing is allowed from our boats
We supply a bluetooth speaker you can connect your device/phone to

- If no rain and you need to cancel, refund is not possible. However we will endeavour to look at a future date for you

Unfortunately not, our retro boats are not charter boats, they are specifically for rentals.
