Year-End Function Venue in Vanderbijlpark & the Vaal Triangle
Celebrate on the Vaal River with Liquid Lounge
Looking for a year-end function venue in Vanderbijlpark or the Vaal Triangle that gives your team something different from the usual restaurant, conference room or function hall? Celebrate the end of the working year aboard Liquid Lounge and enjoy a private function combined with a cruise on the beautiful Vaal River.
Liquid Lounge is a floating function venue created for corporate events, company celebrations, year-end parties, private functions and special occasions. Your team can step away from the office, enjoy good food and drinks, spend time together and take in the scenery as the boat cruises along the Vaal River.
For companies searching for a corporate year-end function venue in the Vaal, the setting alone makes the experience different. Instead of arriving at a venue and staying in one room for several hours, your year-end celebration becomes part function and part Vaal River cruise.

What Can Be Included in Your Year-End Function?
Planning a staff function involves more than choosing a date and inviting your team. Food, seating, entertainment, drinks and the general flow of the event all need to work together.
Our function team can assist you with the key elements of your corporate celebration.
Function Planning and Coordination
Speak to our team about the type of year-end event you would like to host, the expected number of guests and how you would like the function structured.
Whether you are planning a relaxed company lunch, an afternoon staff celebration or a lively year-end party with music and dancing, the function can be planned around your group.
Having the venue, cruise, food and entertainment coordinated together also removes much of the pressure that normally comes with organising a corporate event.
Celebrate Your Team at a Year-End Function on the Vaal River
A company year-end function is an opportunity to recognise the people who contributed throughout the year, thank staff for their efforts and enjoy some relaxed time together outside the workplace.
Liquid Lounge gives businesses in Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging, Sasolburg and the greater Vaal Triangle a year-end party venue that combines hospitality, entertainment and a scenic river setting.
The Liquid Lounge flagship vessel can accommodate functions of up to 120 seated guests, making it suitable for company departments, management teams and larger corporate groups.
Depending on the type of celebration you have planned, your function can include catering, drinks, entertainment, a dance floor and time on the upper deck enjoying the Vaal River.

Catering for Your Staff Function
Food is an important part of any successful year-end celebration.
Liquid Lounge offers several catering options for private and corporate functions, including buffets, braais, platters and finger-fork menus.
This gives companies the flexibility to select catering that suits the type of event they are hosting. A relaxed daytime company function may require something completely different from an evening year-end party with entertainment and dancing.
Speak to the Liquid Lounge team about your catering requirements when planning your event.
Décor and Function Setup
The Liquid Lounge already provides an attractive setting for a company function, with the Vaal River providing the backdrop throughout your cruise.
If your company has a specific year-end theme, corporate identity or colour scheme in mind, additional décor can also be arranged or supplied.
Your setup can therefore remain simple and relaxed or be adapted to suit a themed corporate function.
Bar Facilities, Music and Entertainment
Guests can enjoy drinks from the fully stocked onboard bar during the function.
For companies wanting more of a year-end party atmosphere, DJ or live entertainment options can be arranged. A dance floor can also form part of the setup, allowing the celebration to continue after the meal.
The combination of dining, drinks, entertainment and a Vaal River cruise means you do not have to move your group between several locations during the event.
A Corporate Function Venue With Upper and Lower Deck Areas
Liquid Lounge offers both upper and lower deck areas, giving guests different spaces to enjoy during the cruise.
The lower deck provides the main dining and function area, while the upper deck gives colleagues the chance to relax, chat and enjoy views across the Vaal River.
This works particularly well for corporate functions because guests are not confined to one seating area for the entire event. After the meal, colleagues can move between the decks, enjoy a drink, take photographs and spend time together in a more informal environment.

Turn Your Company Year-End Function Into a Vaal River Cruise
A river cruise creates a natural change of pace.
Once your team has boarded, the office environment is left behind. Colleagues can sit down for a meal, have a drink together, enjoy the river views and spend time with people they may normally only see in a working environment.
It is this combination of a corporate function and Vaal River experience that makes Liquid Lounge a strong option when comparing year-end function venues in Vanderbijlpark and the Vaal Triangle.
Your function does not need an overloaded schedule to be memorable. Good food, a relaxed setting, music, drinks and a few hours cruising the Vaal can create exactly the type of staff celebration many companies are looking for at the end of a busy year.
